How to make a CS2 tier list

The builder opens on All skins and loads each weapon category as you switch tabs, so you can start ranking straight away.

  1. 1

    Pick a weapon category

Tabs cover every skin at once, or knives, rifles, pistols, SMGs, heavy and gloves on their own. Narrow further by specific weapon, rarity or collection to find the skins you want to rank.

  2. 2

    Drag skins into tiers

Drop a skin onto any tier from S down to D, or tap it and then tap a tier on mobile. You can rename a tier or move it up and down, but the board always keeps these five fixed, coloured tiers.

  3. 3

    Share or save it

Share gives you a short link you can post anywhere, no account required. Signing in with Steam also lets you save tier lists privately to your profile and edit them later.

CS2 tier list maker FAQ

Common questions about building, saving and sharing CS2 skin tier lists on Skinbase.

What is a CS2 tier list?
A CS2 tier list ranks skins into labelled tiers, usually from S at the top down to D, so you can show which ones you rate highest. People use them to rank knife skins, rifle skins like the AK-47 and M4, or everything from a single case or collection.
How do I make a CS2 skin tier list?
Choose a weapon category tab, then drag any skin from the grid into the tier you want. On a phone you can tap a skin to select it and tap a tier to place it. Your tier list is kept in your browser as you go, so refreshing the page will not lose your work.
Is the tier list maker free?
Yes. Building a tier list and sharing it with a link is free and needs no account. Signing in with Steam is only required if you want to save tier lists to your Skinbase profile and edit them later.
Which CS2 skins can I rank?
Knives, rifles, pistols, SMGs, heavy weapons and gloves are all available, each in its own tab. Skins are shown using their Factory New artwork, or the closest available wear. Doppler and Gamma Doppler knives are split into their separate phases, so Ruby and Sapphire can sit in different tiers.
Can I make a knife-only tier list?
Yes. Open the Knives tab, then use the weapon filter to narrow it to a single knife type such as Karambit, Butterfly or Bayonet, so you can rank just the finishes for that knife.
How do I share my CS2 tier list?
Press Share and you get a short link to your tier list, which is also copied to your clipboard. Anyone with the link can open it and see every tier exactly as you arranged it, without signing in.
What's the difference between Share and Save?
Share creates a short public link to your tier list and needs no account. Save requires a Steam sign-in and keeps the tier list privately on your profile, under My tierlists, where you can open it again and update it in place.
Can I edit a tier list after saving it?
Yes. Press Open in builder on one of your saved tier lists to load it back into the board, rearrange it, then save again to update it in place. Saved tier lists stay private to your account.
Can I copy someone else's tier list?
Yes. Open any shared tier list and press Copy template. The contents load into your own builder as a new draft, so you can rearrange it without touching the original.
Can I rename the tiers?
You can rename any tier and reorder them, but the board is always these five tiers — S, A, B, C and D — with their fixed colours. There is no adding, removing or recolouring tiers.
